Operating Room Products

We recognise that today’s healthcare environment requires meaningful solutions to improve quality, increase efficiencies and optimise patient outcomes. Surgical Specialties has purposefully constructed an operating room product portfolio with innovative solutions that reduce the risk of infection, improve recovery and increase the efficiency and ergonomics of the operating room environment.

Bone Foam™ Patient Positioners

Vinyl covered, open cell foam positioners specifically designed for positioning patients during surgical procedures and post-operative treatment.

Easy to clean and stain resistant, Bone Foam™ saves time and reduces waste within the OR by reducing the need for opening towels and gowns for positioning.

Bone Foam’s radiolucency can save up to 10 minutes per case by allowing the extremities to be offset, making OR imaging faster and easier.

MEGA Adjustable Instrument Tables

Large two tired adjustable tables that may be raised or lowered intraoperatively through the use of a hand crank. Instrument trays can easily be arranged and organised without the need for stacking.

The customised absorbent drape easily covers both the upper and main surfaces of the table, with a clear plastic backdrop that protects the sterile field while allowing light through to the main table surface

C-Armor® Expandable & Collapsible Sterile Surgical Drapes

A patented expandable and collapsible sterile pouch that adheres to existing drapes, maintaining the sterile field.

It permits unlimited fluoroscopic imaging in the horizontal plane, maintains the sterile field, and lies flat to the table when not in use permitting unencumbered surgical access.

Sterile-Z® Intraoperative Patient Drape

Designed to protect the intraoperative patient during O-Arm imaging and help maintain sterility during removal. Z-fold technology allows caregivers to remove the drape from the patient while maintaining the sterile field.

Z-fold technology uses a double layer of plastic to protect the drape’s perforation. This helps to reduce the risk of contamination to the patient.
